I no I’m really late to this but your hair is beautiful in this video I love it! I’m 1 month in with 1 wash and re-twist and I’m trying to learn all I can to this. I’m a cosmetologist and have done my own hair, but when it comes to Locs I’m not trying to act like I no anything about them, so I’m open to learning all the videos I can and to make sure things get done correctly.

Thank you for this video, this is precisely the style I have wanted to do to wear my hair in between retwists so I'm not retwisting it so often and manipulating it so much particularly around my hairline. My only question is my hair is extra dry, and as such, extra puffy. I get putting the gel around the edges of my hair to slick that down, but what about in the middle/center of my hair that won't lay down just with the tension of the scarf. Do people slick their locks by putting gel on the new growth in the center as well?
